> Talkniva is real-time voice translation for business calls. People speak and listen in their native language, understand and are understood live, with translated voice and captions in a browser by sharing a link. No app install, no scheduling, and the guest needs no account.

Talkniva is a web app (browser-based, real-time). You open a room, share the link, and talk: each person speaks and listens in their native language while the other side does the same. It is built for professionals who talk across languages on business calls — sales and client calls, customer support, interviews, tutoring, and cross-border partnerships.

Key facts:
- Modality: speech-to-speech — you listen in your native language, in a natural translated voice with tone. It translates as people speak (streaming/simultaneous, low latency), not after they finish a sentence. Live captions for both sides.
- Languages: 13 languages available today, both directions (speak and hear): English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Russian, Hindi, Indonesian, Vietnamese. Input speech is auto-detected.
- Access: a shareable 1:1 room. Host creates and pays; guest joins by link with no account.
- Pricing: prepaid hour packages, no subscription and no free trial. Audio and Audio + Video rooms are both available.
- Versus alternatives: unlike type-and-read apps (e.g. Google Translate), it is hands-free and keeps the flow of a business call; unlike meeting captions, it is translated voice in your ear, not platform-locked text.
- Built on OpenAI Realtime translation and LiveKit.
