Welcome to Talkniva. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain how you can use Talkniva and what you can expect from us. We’ve tried to keep them short and clear. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Who provides Talkniva
Talkniva is a product of CCAMPELO TECH LTDA, a company incorporated in Brazil. In these Terms, “Talkniva”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to CCAMPELO TECH LTDA.
Talkniva is a real-time, browser-based voice and video translator for business calls. One person — the host — creates a room and shares a link. One or more guests can join by that link, with no account and nothing to install. Each participant speaks and listens in their own language, live, with on-screen captions for both sides.
If you don’t agree with these Terms, please don’t use the service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract to use Talkniva. The service is not directed to minors.
Your account
The host holds the account. Guests just join by link, so a guest doesn’t need an account to take part in a call.
If you create an account:
- Keep your login credentials secure and don’t share them.
- You’re responsible for the activity that happens under your account.
- If you think someone else has accessed your account, let us know through the contact form on the site.
What Talkniva is — and what it isn’t
Talkniva is a real-time machine-translation aid. It helps people who speak different languages talk to each other in the moment.
It is not a certified human interpreter, and like any automated translation, it can make mistakes. Please keep that in mind:
- Don’t rely on Talkniva where a mistranslation could cause real harm — for example, medical, legal, financial, or emergency decisions.
- For anything high-stakes, use a qualified human professional.
If you’re the host, you’re responsible for who you invite to a call. You’re also responsible for getting any consent the other participant needs to give before their speech is processed for translation. Here’s how the translation works: your speech is streamed in real time to third-party providers — our media and translation partners — that generate the live translation and captions. This happens in transit only, to produce the translation, and is not stored. For who those providers are and how this is handled, see our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Please use Talkniva responsibly. You agree not to:
- Use the service for anything unlawful, infringing, harassing, or harmful.
- Disrupt, probe, or attempt to reverse-engineer the service.
- Resell the service or access to it.
You also agree to comply with the laws that apply to you.
Guest-hours, pricing, and payment
Talkniva runs on prepaid guest-hours:
- You buy guest-hours in advance. Prices are in US dollars.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe and never touch Talkniva’s servers.
- One guest-hour equals 60 guest-minutes for one active guest.
- Balance is consumed by active guests, not by host time alone. One active guest in a room for 10 minutes uses 10 guest-minutes. Two active guests in the same room for 10 minutes use 20 guest-minutes. Three active guests for 10 minutes use 30 guest-minutes.
- Each active guest gets a real-time translation channel. Host time alone, before a guest is active, should not consume the prepaid balance.
- Usage may be measured and displayed down to seconds so the consumption shown to you can match the actual active guest time as closely as possible.
- Guest-hours are held in one prepaid room balance.
Prices and guest-hour packs may change over time. Any change applies to future purchases.
Refunds
Prepaid guest-hours are generally non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund.
If you’re a consumer buying online, Brazilian law (CDC, art. 49) gives you a 7-day right of withdrawal. So if you bought guest-hours, you can withdraw within 7 days of the purchase, and we’ll refund the guest-hours you haven’t consumed. Just reach us through the contact form on the site.
Service availability and changes
Talkniva is in early access. We’re still building, so:
- The service is provided “as is” and “as available”.
- Features may change, be added, or be paused.
- We don’t promise any specific uptime.
None of this takes away the rights you have under consumer protection law.
Privacy
We care about your data, and we keep it simple. We do not record or store the audio or video of your calls, we do not save transcripts or what is said, we do not sell personal data, and we do not use your conversations to train AI models.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Talkniva is an automated tool that can contain errors, and we provide it without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the maximum extent permitted by law — and except for any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Brazilian consumer law — we are not liable for losses arising from use of the service, including mistranslations.
This doesn’t change one important thing: the mandatory consumer protections you have under Brazilian law are not waived, and nothing here limits liability that the law says can’t be limited.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using Talkniva at any time. If an account breaches these Terms, we may suspend or end it.
You can also request deletion of your account and data through the contact form on the site, subject to records we’re legally required to keep (for example, tax and billing records).
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll update the “last updated” date at the top. If you keep using Talkniva after a change, that means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (CDC) applies to consumers, and the LGPD (Law No. 13.709/2018) is our main data-protection framework. For users in regions where the GDPR or CCPA apply, we honor the substance of those rights.
