Where Vietnamese–English calls happen at work
Vietnam is a major manufacturing and outsourcing destination, so many Vietnamese–English calls are operational: a buyer checking a production schedule with a factory, a product owner reviewing a sprint with a development team in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi, a quality manager walking through a defect report. These are conversations where both sides know their subject well and the only obstacle is language.
In those calls, speed matters more than elegance. A voice translation that lets the factory manager explain a delay in Vietnamese, and lets the buyer ask follow-up questions in English, usually settles in one call what would take a day of written messages.
